Simsala`s Abracadabra

I had a hard time with this fast paced vampire romance thanks to the inconsistent - almost schizophrenic - behaviour of the characters.The big,bad cop went from weak to tough and back again,the vampire from lethal and icy-cold to lovesick puppy and back - the one and only steady character in the story was Carter`s valet Gordon.But what bothered me most was the end.Unimaginable cruelty and viciousness was excused with a clap on the shoulder and an "Oh,sorry - I was wrong,let`s go our seperate ways"!! Huh? My revengeful heart was NOT satisfied...
Many sex scenes with an "ouch!" here and there that slightly disrupted the flow of the story at times.Overall an o.k. - read.
